Utopia Film Festival

GATE sponsors a weekend long film festival. The Opening Reception will be on Friday, Oct 23, 2009, with screenings on Saturday, Oct. 24, and Sunday, Oct. 25. Venues include the P&G Old Greenbelt Theater, Beltway Plaza Mall's Academy 8 Stadium Theatres, Greenbelt Community Center, the Greenbelt Library, and Greenbelt's Municipal Building.

The Utopia Film Fest showcases independent shorts, documentaries and full feature films that present "Utopian" lifestyles and change agents. Films are selected from entries submitted by local, national and international filmmakers.
